John Miyasato is the founder and managing principal of Crossroads. He has over 23 years of experience in campaign organizing and voter engagement. John is highly knowledgeable in providing hands-on training and technical assistance to non-profit, nonpartisan civic engagement organizations on the local, state and national levels.

At Crossroads, John has worked with a broad array of clients from around the country including high profile U.S. Senate races, national issue advocacy organizations, as well as both statewide and local civic engagement drives. John believes in finding creative solutions to the challenges faced by non-profits conducting civic engagement campaigns, be they limited budgets, volunteer recruitment and retention, access to quality data or one of the many other difficulties that arise.

John is also the managing principal of the Center on Civic Engagement (COCE). COCE is a 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to advance the full spectrum of nonpartisan civic engagement and voter participation, in order to build political power among underrepresented communities throughout the United States. John and Crossroads Campaigns also managed the We Are America Alliance, and since 2010 has worked closely with the One Arizona Table, helping to build political power in Arizona’s Hispanic population.
