TRACY ZELUFF (SOUTHERN CA)

Tracy Zeluff has more than 25 years of organizing experience. As the senior partner at GroundWorks Campaigns, Tracy plays a leading role in strategic planning for campaigns and projects, coordinates much of the targeting and data work, and provides hands on management of statewide and Southern California campaigns.
Throughout the 1980’s, she honed her community organizing and fund-raising skills doing international solidarity work, raising material aid and engaging others in grassroots lobbying on U.S. policies. In 1993 she started her career with the Service Employees Union, working as a Political Organizer at a local and then moving to the SEIU CA State Council in 1997 where she worked for twelve years, the last five as the State Council’s Field Director. As Field Director, she led the annual strategic planning process for SEIU’s multi-local member involvement campaigns on electoral and legislative work. During this time, Tracy directed the field programs for eight successful independent expenditure campaigns and ran statewide legislative campaigns, often in coalition with multiple community and labor partners.
Clients include: Alliances for a Better California (No to Prop 32, Yes on Prop 30), Anaheim Civic Participation Project, California Calls, Courage Campaign, LA County Federation of Labor, SEIU International, and UFCW International Union
