As a contributor to the AAPI Fund, you are:    

Strengthening a critical work that supports local organizations serving communities in 21 states and the District of Columbia, from the Pacific Northwest to the South, Midwest, and East Coast.

Over 90% of these groups are led by AAPI women. Currently, our work supports over 50 ethnic groups, prioritizing underrepresented and less resourced members of the AAPI community, including low-income, immigrants and refugees, women, youth, the elderly, and the disabled.

Building power and the legacy of AAPI organizing communities.

Despite a lack of institutional funding, AAPI communities share a long history of coming together to provide essential, culturally-responsive social services and programs. The AAPI Fund exists to accelerate and amplify these efforts—by trusting local leaders as experts and investing in their vision for change.

Helping crucial local organizations support community needs.

Our grantee partners provide vital services year-round to meet the immediate material needs of their communities, from setting up food banks to providing application assistance for affordable housing, quality health care, or navigating changes to the SNAP benefits programs. They also deploy rapid-response resources when the situation demands it. In the wake of ICE raids, grantee organizations formed rapid-response networks, providing know your rights training and providing legal referrals to keep communities safe and families together.
