Every May, we honor AAPI Heritage Month—a time to reflect on the vital contributions of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities to the cultural, social, and political fabric of this country. But AAPI history is more than a celebration—it’s a call to recognize our communities’ contributions, resilience, and leadership in the face of ongoing injustice.

AAPI communities have always been part of this nation’s progress. Yet our stories have too often been overlooked in textbooks, erased from national narratives, or used only as symbols of “model minority” myths.

That’s why the AAPI Civic Engagement Fund supports organizations that not only preserve our history—but actively build our future. Every day, we work with groups that register voters, train young leaders, protect tenants’ rights, advocates for quality healthcare, expand language access, and hold elected officials accountable to the needs of AAPI residents.
