Alycia Cheng is Program Manager at the AAPI Civic Engagement Fund. Prior to joining the AAPI Fund Team, Alycia worked as a researcher at the UCLA Center for Neighborhood Knowledge, where she was involved in multiple projects examining issues of accessibility and sustainability, neighborhood change, and inequality. While at UCLA, Alycia also served as the Assistant Managing Editor for AAPI Nexus Journal: Policy, Practice, and Community and assisted with special projects at the UCLA International Institute. She holds both a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a B.A. in Sociology from UCLA.

Alycia is a native of Southern California and is currently based in Los Angeles.
